*Ice break time (things about my last week or me)
1)making cupcakes; I went to Gangnam for cooking class. There is new menu on Baskin Rabbins. I made them with this new ice cream. It was an event so I did it for free. It was not that sweet. I made 6 mini cupcakes. (Iced chocolate latte I ordered is much sweeter than cupcakes I made.)
2)watching Frozen1 again; I wathced Frozen 1 again because Frozen 2 was realeased recently. (It has come finally!) I wanted to remember the stroy of it. I love their songs.
3)lunch with friends; I had lunch with friends. One of them is going to go to Austrailia for working holiday. She wanted to go to Canada but she wasn't selected. She is going to be there on December. She wants spend time on Christmas in another country not in Korea.
4)eating salad; I had salad for lunch. There are lettuce, mini apples, slamon.
5)watching birds; One of my hobbies is watching birds. So sometimes I go to mountains and river or somewhere to see the birds. I went to DMC to see White Crane. It is big so you are going to be surprised. I can distinguish the birds but not all of them.
6)watching British series; I am studying with British series, Miranda. It is funny and it is helpful.

-settle down; stay one place, become stable ▶ I wanted to settle down in New Zealand.
-perks; something good, benefits?
-copycat; follow someone's behavior ▶It is a good way to be a copycat if you want to speak English fluently. (뉴질랜드에 있었을 때 친구들이 한 말 중에 나도 써먹고 싶은 문장들을 반복하는걸 보고 친구들이 너 copycat이라고 했던 기억이 났다 :D)
-well off; something good, stable, rich ▶ He's well off.
-jinx; 찌찌뽕!! the term used when two people say the same thing at the same time.
-mind-blowing; 헐..뭔가 놀랄 때나 뭐라고 말을해야할지 모를 때!
-lack in; 부족하다 ▶ I'm lacking in English.
-Netflix and chill ; 라면먹고갈래 영어버전!! 근데 선생님이 chill할때 난 발음을 못알아들었다 이런... pick up line
-I feel you; 맞아맞아 이런 느낌의 표현이랄까!
-make up for it; 만회하다 같은 의미인데, 미란다에서 make it up to you 랑은 어떻게 다른지 한번 확인해봐야겠다.
오늘 ice break time때 specific하게 생각해야 더 말을 많이 할 수 있게 되어서 좋았다. 다른사람 순서 때는 나라면 이렇게 말하지 않았을까? 하는 것들도 많았고 또 새로운 단어들도 배울 수 있어서 좋았다. 그리고 미란다에서 들은 단어들을 종종 듣게되어서 쉐도잉이 나름 도움이 되고 있구나 느꼈다. 우리가 한 말을 좀 더 올바른 문장으로 쌤이 다시 말해주니까 좋다. 근데 가끔 모르는 단어를 말할 때 난 스펠링을 정확하게 알고싶은데, 모르면 물어보긴하지만 모르는것도 많아서.. 스펠링도 미리 함께 알려달라고 해야겠다! 선생님이 뉴질랜드에도 있고 영국에서 주로 있어서 약간의 영국발음이 있어서 개인적으로 듣기 좋다. 엄청 강한 영국발음 악센트도 아니지만 약간 있다. ask를 아스크 라고 한다던가 can't도 캔트 라고 하기보단 약간 칸트라고 ? 아무래도 쌤이 한 말을 나도 따라서 배우려고 하다보니 내가원하는 발음과 가깝게 하고 있어서 좋다!
